Things were bound to feel festive Saturday night at the 19th annual national dinner hosted by the Human Rights Campaign, a group advocating for LGBT rights: The 3,500-some guests gathered at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center had a landmark Supreme Court decision to toast, the always-entertaining Vice President Biden was the keynoter, and "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen was there to provide the poppy post-dinner dance-floor soundtrack.
